Kristen Tabone Woodward received her BFA degree in Printmaking from Syracuse University and her MFA in Studio Art from Clemson University. Her mixed media drawings combine painting and printmaking, and often utilize found collage materials. She exhibits her work throughout the country.

She says, “Woven throughout my artwork over the past ten or  more years has been dichotomy in regard to the destructive and creative forces of animal welfare and environmental stewardship.”

As evident in her painting, “Hit It,” which will be in the show, she says, “I am particularly struck by the number of children’s games in the past and present which employ antagonist relationships with domestic animals.”
