West Coast artist Jenny Fillius has been dedicated to the creation of art for 35 years. Her first solo show was in 1973 at the Richmond Art Center in Richmond, CA. Working and exhibiting in a multitude of different media from pen & ink, textiles, found object assemblage, painting and most recently recycled metal, Fillius has exhibited her work nationally and internationally. Images of her recycled tin artwork are displayed as public art in Seattle, and have been sold at the Seattle Art Museum Shop and published in the award winning book Humor in the Craft by Bridge Martin (Schiffer). Her art has been featured in the Seattle Times, on Art Zone with Nancy Guppy and received the 2011 Peoples Choice award as well as the 2012 best in show from the White River Valley Museum.
