Artist Donine Wellman has a passion for all types of art mediums. In the 70s, she created batiks and macrame as wall hangings and sculptural pieces and received Best of Show at the Town and Country Art Show and first place at the Sutter Street Art Show. In the 80s and 90s, her career in graphic design afforded an avenue for learning digital art. Her creative focus now is with mixed media and learning new and different techniques. Some recent gallery showings have been at the Adamson Gallery, the Sacramento Temporary Contemporary Gallery, Hot Italian Restaurant in Sacramento, California, and the Rancho Cordova City Hall, Rancho Cordova, California. She’s also shown her art at various art festivals and venues in and around Northern California.
