Mary Heinemann is a painter/printmaker who lives in New Jersey outside of Philadelphia with her husband, photographer Robert Heinemann. She graduated from Rutgers University in 2007 with a concentration in painting. Since then, she has participated in shows in Philadelphia, New Jersey, and New York and has been featured in South Jersey Magazine. She is interested in the exploration of color, emotion, and positive/negative space while also producing strong graphic images. Her major influences include Kathe Kollwitz, Philip Guston, and Anselm Kiefer.
